Study in USA
The United States of America (USA), is a country primarily located in North America, consisting of 50 states, a federal district, five major self-governing territories, and various possessions. American public education is operated by state and local governments and regulated by the United States Department of Education through restrictions on federal grants.
According to U.S. News & World Report, 48 of the top 100 Global Universities are in the United States. While several factors set U.S. schools apart, many students agree one of the best benefits of studying in the United States is the academic flexibility. The United States has many private and public institutions of higher education. The majority of the world’s top universities, as listed by various ranking organizations, are in the U.S. There are also local community colleges with generally more open admission policies, shorter academic programs, and lower tuition.
Studying in the United States and abroad doesn’t just give you tangible degrees and certificates. Your experience says something about who you are. For any international student, the USA has a lot to offer: one of the most prestigious, top ranked higher education systems in the world, eclectic cities and beautiful natural parks, culture, history and a very multicultural population.
Your US student visa allows you to work on-campus up to 20 hours per week when school is in session and full-time during school break periods (up to 40 hours per week). The OPT is a student visa extension which allows eligible international graduates to work in the US for up to one year after completing their studies. STEM graduates get an additional two years. This temporary pass allows international graduates to remain in the US, apply for jobs and find a company to sponsor their employment visa.
